Cathy Hammonds work is a meditation of colour and texture, a language of landscapes, creatures, and mysticism that invites viewers to experience a sense of awe and wonder. She started painting with acrylic and oils five years ago and has never looked back. Cathy draws inspiration from her backyard in Sooke on beautiful Vancouver Island.
